Mindful Partnership.

Aligned partnered with Ready to transform the product vision from a mindful dating app to an entirely new product offering, shaped by real feedback and real users.

Ready had been built around Yung Pueblo — the author and mindfulness voice whose community is defined by emotional intentionality and conscious connection. The audience was deeply engaged. The economics weren't there yet. At the start of the engagement, the dating product was running at roughly breakeven — LTV:CAC sat at 1.05x and monthly churn was 58%. The community was real, but the product wasn't yet the one that community needed.

Yung Pueblo's people weren't just looking to meet someone. Many of them were already in relationships and hungry for a way to go deeper with their partner and cultivate emotional awareness.

Rapid Prototyping.

Aligned saw that signal, acted on it fast, and went to real users to validate our hypothesis.

Before a single line of production code was written, Aligned vibe-coded a working prototype in under a week — a fast, low-stakes way to test whether the concept would actually land. It did. Early users responded immediately to the core idea: a lightweight daily ritual to help couples stay emotionally in sync. That insight crystallized something important.

Couples don't struggle because they don't care about their relationship — they struggle because our modern world makes it hard to stay attuned to each other. Ready Together was built to solve exactly that gap, one small moment of connection at a time.

Behavior-driven Design.

The product insight that unlocked retention wasn't a feature. It was a moment.

When both partners checked in, something unexpected happened: couples came back the next day just to see what their partner had written. Not because they were reminded to — because they wanted to. Users described it as a ritual, something woven into their morning alongside coffee. Letting user behavior guide the product development process, the team followed this thread, iterating on the Vibe Check experience until this moment of shared discovery was as frictionless and compelling as possible.

Engagement That Proved the Instinct.

The retention curve told us the instinct was right. Active couples came back at 84% on Day 1 — roughly three times the ~28% Day 1 benchmark for social apps. And nearly half of beta couples were still actively using Ready Together a full month after joining. Not because the app reminded them. Because they wanted to come back.

That's the signal that matters most in consumer tech: not that people tried the product, but that they built it into their lives.

A Business That Pays for Itself.

Engagement like that translated directly into economics. When the paywall went live for coupled users, 44% converted to paid. Paying subscribers then churned at near-zero through 60+ days — a signal that couples who committed had found something they didn't want to give up. LTV:CAC landed in the 4–6x range with payback under five months. The product hit positive ROAS and started self-funding its own acquisition.

And the engine held under pressure. Four months in, Ready Together proved out the ability to scale acquisition spend 2.6x with virtually no loss in CAC efficiency — demonstrating potential for unbounded growth.
